Our Process

We will work with you through all the steps of the process from the initial consultation to the project completion.

1. Initial Consultation

We would love to hear from you and can call or email us so we can sit down and hear your ideas and go through the process with you in detail, answering any questions you may have. 

​

We believe the initial consultation to be one of the most important stages when meeting a potential client as it gives a real insight as to what the client needs and expects but furthermore, the end finish they desire. 

​

We believe that clear and precise communication is essential when accomplishing a successful design & build project. 

2. Design & Planning

Innovation Construction Design & Build Ltd are more than happy to work from your architect’s drawings or can offer you the option to prepare the drawings and concept for you from the very start. 

​

We will come and discuss all the requirements and regulations that may need to be considered for your design and will be there to go through each stage to give you are full understanding of all elements of the process so you have a solid overview of what will be required throughout the process. 

​

Planning permission can take approximately 8-10 weeks for this process to go through and if your project falls within Permitted Development, you may not need Planning Permission. 

​

Throughout the project we will liaise with Building Control ensuring each phase is signed off for the Building Completion Certificate which will be produced at the end of the build. 

3. Quotation & Site Visits

Deciding which contractor to go with can usually lead to many questions which here at Innovation Construction Design & Build Ltd feel can be answered by bringing a potential client to the heart of the company.

 

We openly welcome potential clients to come and visit us one one of our sites, meet the team and absorb the very essence of who we are and how we operate our sites.

Our quotation process is completely free with no obligation.

4. Schedule of Works

When a client has chosen their preferred contractor, they are often provided with "A Schedule of Works", this is a document we prepare and provide. 

​

Essentially this is a document that records the works required on the project and provides a sequence to each stage and sub stage of the works, also identifying constraints.

​

Creating a Schedule of Works allows us to monitor the project from start to finish and identify a clear timeline to work by.

5. Project support

From the very beginning of your project, being offered ongoing support in the other, less obvious areas that arise that sometimes can be sadly overlooked. 

​

These small but important elements can make all the difference and can strongly assist in making the process less daunting and can alleviate stress from the situation.

​

There will be considerations regarding the internal phases of your project that we will be able to guide accordingly. 

​

From creating mood boards to suggesting suppliers, we aim to support you completely.
